During the workshop, you'll learn various hand-building techniques and create your own unique ceramic piece in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. This workshop can be booked for groups of 3 people or more.

Please note that for bookings of 3 or 4 participants, the workshop is not guaranteed to be private, as we may offer the remaining places to other guests until a maximum of 5 participants is reached. Bookings of 5 or more participants are guaranteed to be a private workshop.

During this 2.5-hour introductory hand-building pottery workshop, you’ll discover the basics of working with clay by hand. You will create your own ceramic piece while learning a variety of hand-building techniques in a relaxed and creative setting. This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone who would like to explore ceramics in an accessible and enjoyable way. No prior experience is required.

You choose exactly what you want to make: a small bowl, cup, altar piece, vase… or something that emerges spontaneously. I guide you step by step, and if you like, you can decorate your piece right away using underglaze. We have some examples available, but it’s always helpful to browse online beforehand to gather inspiration. After the workshop, I take care of firing everything and finishing it with a beautiful transparent or single‑color glaze.

As of 12 years

This workshop includes:

• Workshop guidance
• Clay (max 2 items, max 20×20 cm per item)
• All materials and tools
• Two firing rounds
• natuurlijk koffie/thee met iets lekkers
• Duur 2.5 uur

After the first firing, we will apply a transparent glaze to your piece and fire it a second time. The result is a beautiful, durable, and dishwasher-safe ceramic piece that you can enjoy for years to come.

After about three weeks, your piece will be ready. You can pick it up, or we can ship it to you for the cost of postage.

LET OP: Please note that reserving a date alone is not sufficient. All workshops must be paid for in advance. Your reservation will only be confirmed once payment has been received. While we do our best to accommodate all bookings, there may occasionally be circumstances beyond our control that prevent the selected date or time from going ahead as planned. Should this happen, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternative options.
